Since 1948, their family has delighted patrons with legendary pillowy idlis and flavorsome sambar at Ratna Cafe in Chennai. Anjali, Hema's daughter based in New Delhi took inspiration from her roots and as an ode to her mother, Hema, started Hema's Southern Indian and Coastal, offering a diverse array of dishes beyond the classic idli and dosa.
